One of the deadliest quakes shakes China, buries more than 10000

It seems that Asia has become the favourite destination of the natural calamities. After the killer cyclone at Myanmar, another disaster shook the most populous country of the world, killing more than 10000 people in a span of several minutes. The 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck 90 kilometers (56 miles) from the central city of Chengdu, home to 11 million people and the capital of Sichuan province.

In a gruesome incident, about 1,000 students and teachers were buried when their school building collapse in southwestern China.
